HOME BREWERS EXCHANGE

Do you want to explore the diverse world of beer?
Do you want to step out of your comfort zone and brew something you have never made before or use ingredients you haven’t used before?
Here is your chance!

The Home Brewers Exchange is a way to explore beer with fellow beer enthusiasts. We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7pm-9pm to talk about what you have brewed.

Even/Odd Monthly Events

Even Months we will discuss beers you have brewed. Answer questions as a community and discuss the up and coming brewing challenges.

Odd Months we sample the beer challenges and discuss the differences each brewer has made to their beer, along with the impact it has made.

Brewing Challenge Guidelines
  • We provide a recipe with style guidelines, but leave a few items open ended. We all brew the same base recipe.
  • You might be tasked with selecting a different yeast, hops, or using an additive.
  • Unleash your creativity!
  • Bring samples of your brews to discuss with the group every Odd Month (March, May, July…) The 2nd Thursday of the month between 7-9pm.
    This will ensure that you have plenty of time to build a recipe and brew it.

BVBS OPEN FORUM

We want to encourage all things brewing. Those who are excited about meads, ciders, wines, beers and more are welcome.
New brewers to experienced ones we all have different methods of brewing, fermenting or learning.


The last Friday of the month from 7pm-9pm brewing enthusiasts can all get together and discuss libations.
Come with an open mind and a positive attitude, ask questions, get feedback and grow as a brewer.
